APPOINTMENTS

How to book

Contact Liane to discuss your requirements and arrange an appointment.

What can I expect from my first appointment?

You will be asked to complete a medical assessment form and  food diary or food and symptom diary prior to your appointment and bring these with you to the appointment. See right for a full list of what would be helpful to bring with you.
The first appointment will take up to an hour and include a full medical and diet history, personalised advice with supporting written information. After the consultation Liane will write a letter to you and your GP (with your consent) summarising what has been agreed. Further face to face appointments or contact via email will be arranged as necessary depending on your needs.

If you have complex medical needs, Liane may need to contact your GP for further information prior to the consultation.

How many appointments will I need and how often will I be seen?

This will depend on your requirements:

For IBS and previously undiagnosed food intolerances:

usually 4- 6 weeks after the first appointment to review your progress and make adjustments as necessary.  Liane will then decide with you how you would like to be reviewed following this but this will typically depend on how quickly your symptoms resolve.

For previously diagnosed food allergies:

you may only require one or two appointments to ensure that the correct foods are being avoided and that the diet is well balanced.

For weight loss or weight gain:

You can be reviewed as much and as often as you wish depending on the level of support you need.

Appointments are held at Wantage Osteopathic Practice, Wantage on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Evening appointments can be arranged if preferred and can also be held via Skype or over the telephone if this is more convenient.

Appointments can also be arranged at the Churchill Hospital, Old Road, Headington, Oxford OX3 7LE on Friday afternoons or by arrangement.

Please contact Liane to discuss a suitable time for you.
