This week is Dietitians Week and this year it is promoting Dietitians as being the best source of evidence based advice. Given the variety of information that can be found in the media these days it is important to think carefully about what you read and whether the advice is credible, and more importantly, safe. Articles can often say one thing one day, and another thing the next which can cause a lot of confusion. This may be because research has been taken of context or misinterpreted perhaps just to make for a more grabbing headline. See this page on the British Dietetic Associations website for more information on this with links to useful resources.
