Tomorrow (6th June) sees the start of Dietitians Week 2016 which focuses on workplace health. Each day this week will cover a different theme – tomorrow being Food and Mood. This BDA fact sheet provides some useful information on how different nutrients, foods and fluid can affect our ability to concentrate or how we feel. Have a think about whether you eat regularly enough and drink enough fluid throughout your working day in order to concentrate, feel well and maintain energy levels. If you are relying on caffeine and sugary snacks to keep you going, try to plan ahead instead by taking some healthy snacks to work and keeping a bottle of water handy.
